Typhoon Series Slant Bed Lathes are constructed from one piece cast bases, incorporating FEM analysis to achieve an optimal structure to further enhance machine rigidity and stability. The Typhoon Series offers high productivity and highly accurate performance, giving exceptional cutting capacity and component finish. Direct coupled ballscrews transfer energy without waste. Separate independent coolant tank employs an active type oil fluid separation tank.
Head Stock spindle has labyrinth seals to prevent exposure to moisture and dust and is supported by NN double-row bearings, combined with thrust ball bearings.
Boxed guide way incorporates a high quality design to allow for highly rigid and heavy duty cutting applications.
Hydraulic turret offers low noise and high torque DANFOSS hydraulic system to enhance turret clamping force as well as tool station change over times.
True Linear Y Axis provides improved straightness and ensures excellent positioning accuracy for precision milling/turning.
